We value all of our customers and would like to outline some of our key terms & conditions to give you the ultimate level of transparency when you engage with us for your special occasion, wedding, corporate event or just treating yourself. Please take the time to read through our terms & conditions and please get in contact if you have any concerns or queries. 

Food Hygiene Standards

We w​ork in a clean, regularly sanitised environment to achieve the utmost food safety and hygiene standards. All of our preparation staff are at minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene certified and we take the utmost care in our preparation process. We also only work with suppliers who meet our exacting standards in the procurement and preparation process on their premises.

Allergens

Although the ​utmost care is taken to outline the ingredients of our boxes, platters and tables, the preparation process may take place in an environment where allergens can come into contact with your product (for example nuts). Should you have concerns regarding allergies and any intolerances, please ensure that you put this as a note in your order. Should you wish to discus any allergens before ordering, please get in touch with us. The Stamford Grazing Company accept no liability for any allergic reactions caused as a result of consumption.

Online Orders

We accept guest checkout as well as signed in (SSO) transactions through our site. All transactions are secured and SSL certified. Where customer(s) create an account, your details will be kept and stored in accordance to our (The Stamford Grazing Company) standards. We will not disclose or share your payment and/or account details with any third parties unless otherwise stated. You (the consumer) may request, at any time full disclosure of the data we (The Stamford Grazing Company) hold on you (the consumer) and we will endeavour to respond to these requests within 7 working days of request submission.

The above processing rules and procedures also apply to name, address and any other data we (The Stamford Grazing Company) hold on you (the consumer).

Signing up to our services means you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of sale which apply to all transactions on thestamfordgrazingco.co.uk and signing up to our services means we must have as a minimum the following information:

  • Your name

  • Your address, including the postcode of the billing address associated with the payment card

  • Your telephone number

  • Your email address

  • Your payment details

The Stamford Grazing Company only sells goods on our website to the end user and they should not, in any way, be resold without our prior written consent.

Order Confirmation and Minimum Order Quantities

There shall be two stages of order confirmation. The first shall be the 'on screen confirmation' immediately after the payment has been received, and the second shall be an email to confirm your full order details. We do not hold your payment details from any previous orders apart from those stored in your registered profile (if registered). This does not include any secure banking information and is strictly managed in accordance with SSL protocols.

For certain products, we enforce minimum order quantities. These are clearly stated on our product pages. Should a minimum order quantity not be met for your order, we will inform you of this at the point of secondary order confirmation (via email) and liaise with you (the consumer) accordingly to either:

  1. Increase your order to the minimum order quantity

  2. Process a refund for your order

In certain circumstances, we (The Stamford Grazing Company) reserve the right to waive the minimum order quantity threshold. This remains entirely at the discretion of The Stamford Grazing Company.

 

Product Pricing

The price of goods charged shall be as quoted on the web site at the time you confirm your order with us. For tables, this will be quoted through an official letter-headed quote from The Stamford Grazing Company once your (the consumer)'s consultation has taken place.

 

Excluding any inadvertent technical error on pricing, we will honour any prices as published at the time of placing your order. Orders that do not meet the minimum order quantities (as specified above) may not be honoured and remains at the discretion of The Stamford Grazing Company. Your debit/credit card shall only be charged for items dispatched to you.

 

All of our food products are zero-rated for VAT. Prices of goods do not include the delivery charge which will be added at the time of order through the basket. We endeavour to keep to the ingredients in the menu description but things are sometimes beyond our control when products become unavailable or through seasonality changes and we reserve the right to make certain changes to the menu if this is the case.

 

Subscriptions

Our (The Stamford Grazing Company)'s boxes and platters are available as:

  1. One off purchase (pricing specified for items on product pages)

  2. Subscription (monthly, auto-renew)

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accurate pricing of our boxes, platters and tables, any errors in pricing is at the discretion of The Stamford Grazing Company and genuine errors will be taken on a case by case basis and do not have to be honoured. You (the consumer) will be spoken to in instances of this nature to discuss any errors and to find a resolution.

All subscriptions from The Stamford Grazing Company will auto-renew unless selected otherwise through our website. Upon cancellation, we (The Stamford Grazing Company) will process the cancellation as quickly as possible and terminate direct debit payments accordingly.

 

Delivery

Delivery is a set fee specified at the time of checkout. We (The Stamford Grazing Company) deliver within a 10 mile radius of Stamford. A full list of applicable delivery locations can be found in our FAQ section. We (The Stamford Grazing Company) reserve the right to refuse orders on this basis and refunds will be issued in accordance with our terms & conditions in these instances.

All orders must be placed by 6PM (GMT) in order to cater for weekend delivery. Weekend delivery is specified as Friday 6PM to Sunday 10PM. You (the consumer) will be contacted by us (The Stamford Grazing Company) to confirm your order. At the point of order, you will be asked for your preferred delivery date and time.

As specified above this will be in two stages:

  1. Automated confirmation on website (this means your payment is successful)

  2. Follow up email from our team (this confirms acceptance of your order

In the case of your order being rejected, a full refund will be processed back to your card of payment.

Accepting Deliveries

Due to the nature of our products, we do not leave deliveries unattended. All of our products are perishable and to ensure they are of the highest standards when you receive your order, we require someone to be present at your (the consumer)'s residence to accept delivery. Failure to accept delivery will incur full charges (including the delivery charge) and refunds will not be issued. This is irrespective of any circumstances you may encounter without prior written confirmation no later than 5 working days before the date of delivery.

Deposits & Payment

All boxes and platters must be paid for in full through our web checkout process. No orders will be accepted and no alternative payment methods will be accepted.

For tables, we (The Stamford Grazing Company) will not charge for our initial consultations, however a 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking. You will be informed of the total cost of your order and deposit amount through a letter-headed quotation from us (The Stamford Grazing Company). 

All deposits are required to be paid in full no later than 7 days after receipt of invoice. This is 100% non-refundable and includes cases of cancellation, natural disaster, illness/ailments or date changes. At our (The Stamford Grazing Company)'s discretion, we may move to accommodate date changes without penalty however this remains entirely at our (The Stamford Grazing Company)'s discretion.

Final payments for tables are required no later than 7 days before the date of the event. You will be notified by email (including final invoice) to request this payment. Without receipt of this payment, we (The Stamford Grazing Company) are under no obligation to provide service(s) to your event and may with-hold produce and/or our services until full payment and balance is settled.

Refund Process

If you are unsatisfied with any of the items in your order or any part of the delivery service from The Stamford Grazing Company please contact us. Alternatively, you can call us on 07807 122 591 or use our web form.

As we sell perishable goods, we ask that you (the consumer) inspect the food once you have opened the box. Acceptance of delivery equates to an acceptance to the quality and condition of the contents. If you are unhappy with the goods, please reject delivery and let our delivery personnel know of your issue. Refunds will be processed for rejected orders (rejected orders reflects orders acknowledged by a present resident at the address of delivery). 

 

We shall be happy to exchange or refund any item that has been damaged in transit if rejected at the point of delivery. If we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify us as soon as possible. If you would like us to replace the incorrect item with the item that you ordered, we shall send you the correct one as soon as possible. We shall not charge you for incorrect item.

We operate an open and honest policy at The Stamford Grazing Company and will work our hardest to make sure we can accommodate and act on any problems or suggestions.

 

Payments Process
When using our shopping basket, we operate Stripe payments. This is the case for one off payments and subscriptions. For further information about Stripe, please click here. All payments are required for boxes and platters via our e-Commerce function via the basket and checkout on our website. For tables, payment will be required by bank transfer to the details specified in the invoice and/or quote(s) and are required to be paid in accordance to the terms & conditions specified above.


Cancellations

The following cancellation charges will apply once the booking has been confirmed, together with the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations must be confirmed by email and apply only for tables:

  • Within 7 Days of Booking Date – Deposit & 50% of quoted price

 

Once deposits have been paid, these are 100% non-refundable.

For boxes and platters paid for in full through our website, any cancellations within 3 working days of your agreed delivery date will be subject to a 50% charge. As a result, we (The Stamford Grazing Company) will refund you 50% of your order (net of delivery charge) to the payment card used at the time of order.

Cancellations on the date of delivery or failure to be at the delivery address to accept your delivery will be charged at 100% and subject to no refund.
